About the event
Sunday Afternoons in August
This is a time to slow down, pay attention, and nurture our connection with nature. Using a Journal to record our observations, we become absorbed, stimulating our curiosity and creative thinking.
August 7, 14, 21 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
We'll gather at the beautiful Horticultural Society Park at the corner of King St. West and Main. In case of rain, meet at GAN, 167 King St. E.
Bring simple art supplies (E.g. pens, coloured pencils, a journal) and a portable seat is possible.
No previous drawing skills required; the focus is on using our senses, observing, and questioning.
Suggested donation: $0 - $20 per session, collected on site. Come to one, two, or all three.
