Pottery Wheel Classes

You will learn the fundamentals of throwing a bowl on the pottery wheel.

During the 2-hour classes, you will be guided in how to prepare your clay, and the basic techniques of throwing, trimming, and glazing.

Individual assistance is offered to each student in every class, along with enough time to practice.

While you are registered in a class you have access to open studio time while the cafe is open, Wednesday through Sunday from 9 to 4. This is a trial and it's essential that you sign in and out on the pad above the sink; that you leave the studio clean, and the tools replaced. This is NOT intended for production work. It is simply for practicing what you learned.

Suggested items to bring along: an apron, a cloth or towel, and patience!

Prepare to have lots of fun!!
